A mock exercise on the evacuation of the Civil Defense in the Irbid Silos Complex

Within the framework of the commitment of the General Company for Silos management, represented by His Excellency the Director General, Eng. Imad Al-Tarawneh, to apply the highest standards of occupational safety and raise readiness, the management of the Northern Complex, in cooperation with the Civil Defense Directorate, organized on Tuesday, 2/4/2025, a mock exercise that included a mock evacuation process at the silos site.

The exercise aims to raise the efficiency of response in dealing with accidents and to determine the readiness of public and private national institutions and to consolidate the concept of joint cooperation between the concerned parties and the readiness of their employees to deal with real accidents when they occur, and that such exercises are considered part of the public safety requirements for international and local accreditation certificates.
It highlights the ability of civil defense to confront the most difficult cases and rescue injuries using the latest methods, stressing the ability of civil defense to deal with all cases accurately and successfully.
The training was attended by a large number of civil defense officers and personnel, liaison officers, police officers, the mayor of Ramtha, Mr. Ahmed Al-Khazaleh, and representatives of the local community and Mukhtar Ghazi Al-Awaqleh.
The Director of Civil Defense, Colonel Yousef Al-Shakhatra, stressed the importance of this exercise to ensure the safety of citizens and visitors to all areas of the complex, as civil defense cadres carried out a mock exercise simulating the evacuation process for a hypothetical accident in the complex and implementing all public safety procedures during the evacuation.
His Excellency the Director of Ramtha Police, Brigadier General Firas Al-Rahifa, also stressed the great and vital role played by civil defense personnel within the triangle of public security to preserve lives, property and national gains with all professionalism and professionalism witnessed by everyone, thanks to the continuous care and support of His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein.

The Director of the Northern Complex, Mr. Suleiman Al-Ayoub, expressed his thanks and gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of this event and their efforts in serving the community, stressing the importance of continuing this fruitful cooperation, and presented a number of shields from the Jordanian General Company for Silos and Supply to the distinguished guests.
