Celebration of Jordanian Industry Day "Employment Pioneers", and honoring 100 Jordanian companies

On behalf of His Majesty King Abdullah II, Prime Minister Dr. Bisher Al-Khasawneh sponsored, on Thursday 15/8/2024, the celebration of Jordanian Industry Day "Employment Pioneers" and honored 100 Jordanian companies that achieved excellence in employing local workers. His Excellency the Director General, Eng. Imad Al-Tarawneh, was honored and presented with a certificate of thanks and appreciation
The Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply, Yousef Al-Shamali, said that the most prominent feature that distinguishes the national industry, especially during the past five years, is flexibility and the ability to absorb shocks
He added during the celebration organized by the Amman Chamber of Industry, that the flexibility of the industrial sector was clearly evident in its ability to overcome the economic effects of the Corona pandemic, the Russian-Ukrainian war, and the accompanying disruption of supply chains, high transportation costs, and overcoming the economic consequences of regional instability due to the brutal Israeli aggression on the sector
He stressed that the partnership between the public and private sectors has clear fruits, including the launch of the industrial policy For the years 2024-2028, to enable local industry and encourage manufacturers to innovate and create, within a specific time frame to achieve the goals.
