An introductory meeting for public safety, security and environment officials in facilities in the Aqaba region

Under the patronage of the Honorable Governor of Aqaba and in the presence of the directors of the relevant security services
An introductory meeting about the facilities was held on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at the Governorate House for public safety, security, and environment officials, with the aim of introducing the industrial ports area, increasing the level of awareness and knowledge, and raising the level of coordination among public safety officials.
Public safety officials gave a presentation on the most prominent risks in facilities, including the following:
1. The nature of the establishment’s work.
2. Location of the facility and neighboring facilities.
3. Expected risks.
4. Alarm, firefighting and evacuation systems, and available protective and personal protection equipment.
5. Available clinics, ambulances and fire engines.
6. The facility’s capabilities in emergency situations.

He represented the Jordanian General Company for Silos and Supply / Aqaba Complex
- Complex management.
- Liaison officers of the Joint Control and Coordination Center.
- Public Safety Supervisor.
Accordingly, the necessary plans and equipment will be put in place to preserve public safety, security and the environment in all facilities in the southern region.
